Classic romance. Elegant beauty. Two phrases that quickly come to mind as I look back on Ralston and Nick’s stunning wedding day. A more beautiful couple would be hard to find, not to mention a more beautiful wedding day! I am beyond honored that these two entrusted me with the precious task of capturing and documenting such a momentous day in their lives. This wedding collection has easily become one of my favorites to date.
Nick grew up in Tuscon, AZ and met his lovely bride in college. She grew up in San Juan Capistrano, CA where they were married at the Basilica and famed Mission San Juan Capistrano. The day started with a little lucky rain, but quickly cleared up and made way for a truly stunning day. An emotional “first-touch” was shared, keeping with the tradition of not seeing each other before the ceremony. The bride arrived to the ceremony in true style, riding in an all-white Rolls Royce! Once the I-do’s were swapped and sealed with a kiss, the wedding bells rang proudly, the sound resounding for all to hear, even blocks away.
Beauty encompasses far more than just exterior allure. When I think back on the beauty of this day, I am reminded immediately of the laughter that filled the air as we captured their first images as husband and wife. I can still see the look in his eyes as he watched her walk down the aisle and can still smell the sharp scent of lit sparklers as they made their grand escape. Beauty to me is all these things and so much more.
