Styled Wedding Shoot at The Muckenthaler Mansion, Fullerton

The Muckenthaler Mansion in Fullerton, California provided the perfect backdrop for this elegant styled wedding shoot. The venue is a historic home built in the 1920s, and the details of the wedding shoot played well into the theme. Instead of a photo booth, the couple chose a talented silhouette paper artist who created silhouettes in minutes! The wine bottles, invitation suite, and stationary all displayed beautiful hand-written calligraphy as well as vintage stamps for the invitations. Natural floral arrangements and subdued hues accentuated the modern yet timeless details throughout the wedding.

On the tables, unpolished brass paired with soft paisley prints, succulents, moss, and gold utensils completed the vintage theme without going overboard. A stone fireplace, rustic wooden accents, and vintage metal frames added texture and depth to the beautiful presentation. The outdoor reception balanced the formal dining arrangement to create a relaxed atmosphere for the celebration. Sunlight glowed through the mansion’s windows, making it as enthralling on the outside as it was on the inside. The property is filled with a variety of large, mature trees that made everything feel even more intimate and romantic.

The wedding party was small and allowed for variation in the attire—everything matched without being overly coordinated. Miranda and William (the bride and groom) were of course the crown of this beautiful celebration. Miranda’s elegant lace dress and William’s bowtie continued the vintage theme. The couple seemed so comfortable in front of the camera while remaining blissful in each other’s company. Their beautiful wedding was as captivating and timeless as their marriage.
