When you look at these photos, you’ll see why the Summit House restaurant—adjacent to the breathtaking Fullerton Panorama Trail—is my all-time favorite outdoor location. The multi-textured backdrops seem endless. (I could probably spend hours out there clicking away if I didn’t have a time limit.) Lush gardens, bright florals, and a myriad of fall-colored trees line the winding trail. Some of the ornate stone benches on the trail even look out over the city!
To make it even better, the Lee family was such a pleasure to shoot—perfect subjects for perfect portraits! The kids were so well-behaved as they quizzically explored the trail together. The brother and sister duo seemed to wind up in the most adorable poses on their own, so my directing was pretty minimal.
Take note, friends! This family has flawless style. They did a fantastic job of picking out their outfits—Mom’s dark, burgundy velvet outfit and black booties looked stunning on her, coordinating well with her daughter’s fluffy blush-colored sweater. The men looked so handsome! Look at Little Man in his blazer and jeans!! So cute. Layering and textures alway add extra dimension and depth to photos.
One of my favorite photos is of the parents exchanging a sweet kiss while the kids playfully hide their eyes with their hands. This family is so full of love. I had a blast spending part of my day with them. Wishing you the merriest of holidays, Lee Family!
